7-Days Amboseli-Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha - 7 Days

The trip will cover three parks, starting with Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli National park. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival (Nairobi)

You will be Pick up from the airport to your hotel and you will be given a pre-departure meeting at your Hotel or picked from the airport with a briefing then head to Maasai Mara for your tour itinerary.

Day 2
Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve

This morning drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. The wild animals found in the Parks are Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain games including Impala, Zebra, and both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Main destination: Masai Mara National Reserve. Accommodation: Mara Azure located just at Masai Mara NR

Day 3
Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Main destination: Masai Mara National Reserve. Accommodation: Azure Mara located just at Masai Mara NR.

Day 4
Maasai Mara-Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, head south, passing through Naivasha town and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park the impressive landscape unfolds before you – a semi-arid world with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains and deep concealed gorges. There are many activities you can do in Hell’s Gate including, walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching and trekking through the gorge amongst the geysers – the choice is yours. Enjoy picnic lunch, then mid-afternoon depart for your accommodation on Lake Naivasha for a well-earned hot shower and a cold drink. Accommodation Elsamere lodge located just at Hell’s Gate NP. Day 5
Lake Naivasha-Amboseli

We depart to Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a picnic lunch en-route, we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before setting up camp in preparation for the evening. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains’ game, postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Main destination: Amboseli National Park Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp Luxury tented camp located just outside Amboseli NP.

Day 6
Amboseli National Park.

Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as an Animal’s paradise. Visit Masai Village and learn their rich culture at an extra cost. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow-capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 7
Amboseli-Nairobi

After breakfast, you will be driven back to Nairobi for your flight or to your hotel. Upon arrival in Zanzibar. You will have a good time.
