Itinerary

Day 1
NAIROBI TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru to the west. You will ascend eastern wall of the Rift Valley where lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya.

You will have a short stop-over at the Great Rift Valley view point for photographs and then proceed with your drive to arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. After lunch you will set for a game drive in the park in search for the big five animals’ like lion, rhino, leopard and cheetah and more other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds from over the world; in Nakuru we have up to 425 different bird species. You will get back to the hotel before dark for your dinner and overnight stay at hotel Wagon wheel

Day 2
LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy full buffet breakfast in the camp. Check out thereafter and drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your lodge; enjoy your lunch in the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive.
Afternoon game drive in the reserve and return to the lodge before dark.

Day 3
MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After your breakfast, you will leave with your picnic lunch for a full day game drive in the reserve in search of the big five as well as other numerous plain animals. You will have a lunch break in the reserve after which continue with your game drive till evening when you will return to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

You will have an opportunity to see Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, The spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring. Finally, Overnight at Mara Wajee Safari Camp

Day 4
MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - LAKE NAIVASHA

Full buffet breakfast in the camp, and then check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha where you will have your lunch en-route. After lunch en-route you will go on with the drive to Lake Naivasha

Optional: Boat Ride or Hells Gate National Park where you will see most of the activities which were formed due to volcanic activities like hot cold warm springs.

Finally ,arrive at the camp in the evening. Overnight at Chambai Safari Hotel

Day 5
GREEN CRATER LAKE WALK

The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of Lake Naivasha, passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market.

You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 9.30am approximately and you will begin your morning game walk. The green Crater Lake was formed by volcanic activity. The group will walk in a reserve where it’s possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelope. It’s a great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals, bird life e.t.c and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity. At 12.00pm you will leave for lunch at ‘carnelley’s camp’ about 20 minutes back down the road toward Naivasha town. In the afternoon you will enjoy some optional activities like cycling around the village or hire a small power boat for a trip out on to the lake.
Overnight at Chambai Safari Hotel.

Day 6
DEPARTURE - NAIROBI

You will wake up for your breakfast in the morning. After breakfast you will set out to depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home. Tour ends in Nairobi in the afternoon.
