10-Day Game drive & Birding Bogoria, Serengeti, Mara, Amboseli Park
Drive to Lake Bogoria, a birding paradise home to millions of flamingos, pelicans, and over 350 bird species. Explore the hot springs and spot gazelles, zebras, and greater kudu. Evening game drive. Cross into Tanzania and head to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Evening game drive across the plains rich with lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and elephants. Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s endless savannahs, following the Big Five and (seasonally) the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Perfect for birding and photography. Return to Kenya and enter the Maasai Mara, renowned for its predator-rich ecosystem. Afternoon game drive through the golden plains.
On the first day depending on your preference place of pick up either from JKIA Airport or Hotel. En-route for Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of flamingoes’ hot springs and the geysers game drive and walking safaris. Lake Bogoria is also a saline, alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic region in a half-graben basin south of Lake Baringo, Kenya, a little north of the equator. Lake Bogoria, like Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita, and Lake Magadi further south in the Rift Valley, and Lake Logipi to the north, is home at times to one of the world's largest populations of lesser flamingos. After a soundful sleep. You will wake up for a morning breakfast then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best national parks in Kenya given that it has one of the Rift Valley soda Lakes. On arrival you get a welcome and shown to your room. After lunch take a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, which is well known as bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru kenya Park is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include but not limited to African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed greenbul, Long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, Montane white-eye, Red-capped lark, Northern puffback, Rüppell’s robin-chat, Shining sunbird and many more. In the morning, after your breakfast, you drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Narok county the land of Maa people. Maasai Mara national reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. The boarder intercounty boarders are what has spilt the two great National Park. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve thrills within Mara Eco system that includes Mara triangle, and other conservancies like Ol Chorro Oirowua, Ol Derkesi, Lemek, Maji Moto, Siana, Olkinyei, Naikara, Koiyaki, and North Mara. Check out thereafter and drive have your second days of full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. In the morning is usually an awesome popular game viewing time. During the early hours, temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, cheetah, and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search of their next prey, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Accommodation: Mara Chui lodge
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel at 6:30 in the morning. We head to Serengeti National Park, you will drive as we head to the boarder of Tanzania and Kenya at Isebania border. After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park.
The journey may take more than eight hours but most part of Tanzania, we will be driving inside the Serengeti Park as we head for our hotel in Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is considered Tanzania's best park. Big herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and many antelope, such as eland, Topi, kongoni and impala are resident at any time of the year. All three big cats are easily seen. Lion are often found on a kill. Cheetah is very common on the southeastern plains, while leopard can typically be found lazing in one of the big trees along the Seronera River. More than 350 species of birds, including ostriches, vultures, and flamingos in a lesser number and not easy to spot, have also been recorded. Accommodation: Tukaone Luxury Serengeti Camps.
Third day check out with a drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. In the evening, be transferred to Arusha for your overnight at Charity hotel Lodge.
We will depart to Amboseli via Namanga Boarder in the morning after breakfast. Then drive to the boarder of Tanzania and Kenya at Namanga boarder, After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to Drive south through Maasai county to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en-route with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and various plains plateaus game can be seen. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Finally, you will return to your hotel. Accommodation: Sentrim Amboseli Camp
Early morning wakes up with your breakfast ready. Today you will have your packe lunch for redy full day game drive. Proceed with more game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest and Giraffe. Amboseli National Park is one of the best-known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: Sentrime Camp
Wake up in the morning and you breakfast will be at 7.30 am and you will be picked up by your driver/guide at 8:30 am. End your time in Lake Naivasha National Park with an early drive back to Nairobi, at which point the tour will come to its conclusion.
