The journey takes you into the Great Rift Valley to explore Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island, where a boat ride and walking safari bring you close to hippos, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Your safari adventure begins with a pick up either from the hotel within Nairobi or from the Airport drive from Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s oldest and largest park, famous for its red elephants and scenic landscapes. In the afternoon, we go for a game drive to allow us more discover, what Tsavo National Park will offer. The park is where rugged wilderness meets rich wildlife. On the second day exploring Tsavo East with morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Together, Tsavo East and Tsavo West form one of the world’s largest protected areas, covering over 20,000 km². On our fourth day, we have our morning breakfast ready to depart for Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, head to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery and birdlife. Optional boat ride to see hippos and diverse bird species. In the morning, just about less than an hour drive. Explore Crescent Island, a private sanctuary on Lake Naivasha where you can enjoy guided walks among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The island’s crescent shape was formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago, creating lush grasslands and scenic viewpoints across Lake Naivasha. We leave Naivasha in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for flamingos. On the second day in Mar National Reserve. We spend the all day exploring the rolling savannas of the Maasai Mara. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and wildebeests. (Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise in the morning and on back to our full day game drive). The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most iconic safari destination, world-famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, when millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River in a breathtaking struggle for survival. After breakfast, enjoy a final morning drive before returning to Nairobi, where your safari concludes. On the last day you may opt to be taken back to your own accommodation in Nairobi or decide to be taken to the airport, that also depending on your departure time.
