8 Days Untold Journey to Samburu Amboseli L Navasha & Bogoria Aberdare Park

You will be picked up from the airport with a briefing, thereafter you will be driven north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your campsite. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure. Samburu is also known for some rather unique wildlife not usually seen elsewhere. A visit to the reserve will bring you in sight of such memorable species as Grevy’s Zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the Beisa onyx. And this is one of the few parks where you have a good chance of spotting African wild dogs. On game drives over the savannah, through acacia forest and riverine vegetation there will be numerous opportunities to view kingfishers, marabous, vultures, guinea fowl, Somali ostrich, egret, falcon and eagle. Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark. Dinner and overnight: Accommodation: Samburu Simba Lodge.

Set out for an early morning game drive in the Samburu reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours’ temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search of their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring! 8.30 am. Back at the lodge, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. 12.30 pm Lunch in the lodge then its time at leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodiles 4.00 pm. Afternoon game drive. Return to the campsite before dark. 7.30 pm dinner and overnight: Samburu Simba Lodge.

Early morning breakfast leave lake Nakuru and packed lunch game en-route for Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of flamingoes’ hot springs and the geysers game drive and walking safaris. Lake Bogoria is also a saline, alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic region in a half-graben basin south of Lake Baringo, Kenya, a little north of the equator. Lake Bogoria, like Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita, and Lake Magadi further south in the Rift Valley, and Lake Logipi to the north, is home at times to one of the world's largest populations of lesser flamingos. The lake is a Ramsar site and Lake Bogoria National Reserve has been a protected National Reserve. Accommodation: Comfort Garden Nanyuki

Morning picked up from the airport/ hotel with a short briefing and driven to depart to Aberdare National Park. Check into your lodge, have lunch. After lunch have a thirty minutes rest before proceeding with your game drive. The Aberdare National Park also hosts a large eastern black rhinoceros’ population and over 250 bird species including the endangered Aberdare cisticola, Jackson's spurfowl, sparrowhawk, African goshawk, African fish eagle, sunbirds and plovers. After breakfast, head north, passing through Naivasha town and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park the impressive landscape unfolds before you a semi-arid world with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains, and deep concealed gorges. An afternoon boat ride at extra cost among colonies of hippos will be ideal view over the Lake Naivasha. There are many activities you can do in Hell’s Gate including, walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching, and trekking through the gorge amongst the geysers, the choice is yours. You'll have an early morning pick up by Silver Spark Africa safaris driver from your Nairobi airport or hotel. Then you will drive to Amboseli National Park with lunch en-route. On arrival at Amboseli National Park, you will head for an afternoon game drive in this beautiful park which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain. Go in search of wild dogs, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, crocodiles, mongoose, hyraxes, dik-diks, lesser kudus and nocturnal porcupines. You will have another day in this beautiful park. After your breakfast. Have your packed lunch, you will go for a full-day game drive in Amboseli. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust". It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. Breakfast will be at 7.00 am and you will be picked up by your driver/guide at 7.30 am. End your time in Amboseli with an early drive back to Nairobi, at which point the tour will come to its conclusion.
