Today you will be picked up at the airport and given a pre-departure meeting on your way to hotel. Check in for your hotel have a time to relax. Pick you up for your Giraffe Centre. In the latter evening dinner at seven at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. The trip can also start straight away from the Airport to the Maasai Mara depending on your arrival time. We will depart to Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. Drive south through Maasai county to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en-route with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and various plains plateaus game can be seen. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Finally, you will return to your hotel. Accommodation: Aa Lodge Amboseli.
Early morning wakes up with your breakfast ready. Today you will have your packe lunch for redy full day game drive. Proceed with more game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest and Giraffe. Amboseli National Park is one of the best-known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: Aa Amboseli lodge.
You will wake up for a morning breakfast then depart to Lake Elementaita National Park. On arrival you get a welcome drink and shown to your room. After lunch take a late afternoon guided leisure walk along the bird rich lake. Lake Elmenteita is a soda lake, in the Great Rift Valley, about 120 km northwest of Nairobi, Kenya. The Salt Lake is known for its rich avifauna, among other huge concentrations of Greater and Lesser flamingos. End up at the hot-spring for a relaxing dip. Return to the lodge for dinner and campfire thereafter. Accommodation at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge.
We head to Maasai Mara Reserve. We drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Narok county the land of Maa people. Maasai Mara national reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. The boarder intercounty boarders are what has spilt the two great National Park. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve thrills within Mara Eco system that includes Mara triangle, and other conservancies like Ol Chorro Oirowua, Ol Derkesi, Lemek, Maji Moto, Siana, Olkinyei, Naikara, Koiyaki, and North Mara. On the second day, you will wake up. Have your morning breakfast ready to be served. Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with your picnic lunch. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Mara Triangle bordering the Mara River with lush grassland and acacia woodlands, this is always good for game drive. The Mara is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, which takes place every yearly. During these months the yellow savannah is dotted black by more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and antelopes that migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water. After a soundful sleep. You will wake up for a morning breakfast then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best national parks in Kenya given that it has one of the Rift Valley soda Lakes. On arrival you get a welcome and shown to your room. After lunch take a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, which is well known as bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru kenya Park is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include but not limited to African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed greenbul, Long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, Montane white-eye, Red-capped lark, Northern puffback, Rüppell’s robin-chat, Shining sunbird and many more. Today we head to Jinja. After breakfast in your hotel, you will depart Nakuru for Jinja, driving across the Malaba border. You will pass by the source of the Nile River, the world’s longest. It begins its journey here before crossing through ten African countries and plunging into the Mediterranean Sea. Jinja town is regarded as the adventure capital of East Africa. It is a place brimming with adventure sports and activities, including white water rafting, bungee jumping, and kayaking. We do encourage our client to have their boat ride for an extra. It is always a dream boat ride in the longest river across Africa. Overnight will be at Paradise Jinja Hotel.
Wake up into a different climate zone, have your breakfast. Then be drive down to Kabale, Uganda’s highest town (2000m), witnessing beautiful, lush scenery along the way. We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s deepest crater lake (900m). Bunyonyi means “place of the little birds”, so you can expect to view interesting and unique birdlife while staying here. Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, which sits on the southwestern tip of Uganda. You will have a relaxing evening as we prepare for the trek ahead. This is an excellent place to rest before your gorilla trek. Accommodation: Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort.
Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Trek through the early morning mist in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is home to roughly half of the world's 700 remaining mountain gorillas. The trekking can be demanding and take as long as a full day - a water bottle and good walking shoes or boots are highly recommended. Experienced local guides will lead you through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour (this time is strictly regulated by the Uganda Wildlife Authority). Photography is permitted, although not with the use of flash (there are also restrictions on the use of video cameras). With or without a camera, however, this is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences Africa can offer and is certainly one that will remain with you long after your journey. Overnight will be at the Bunyonyi Overland Resort.
Have your morning breakfast then it's time to check out of your hotel. Drive to Nairobi after breakfast, with lunch on your way. You'll be arriving in the afternoon at your respective hotel or airport.
