After lunch have a thirty minutes rest before proceeding with your game drive. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km² not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. Accommodation: Comfort Garden Nanyuki.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route to the gate driven to depart for Meru National Park. The park is brilliant on a magnificent scale, the Meru and Kora sister parks feature luxuriant jungles, coursing rivers, verdant swamps, khaki grasslands, and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky’s great blue bowl. Little visited and utterly unspoiled, few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. Visitors can see Grevy's zebras, elephants, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, puff adders, cobras, buffalos, and more than 427 recorded species of birds. Accommodation: iKWETA Safari Camp

You will be driven north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve and check in to your campsite. Have lunch at the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure in the afternoon. Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Enjoy twice daily game drives where you will see huge majestic elephants, lions, leopards and cheetahs, and all of the ‘special five’ which include the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich.
In the hot and arid lowlands of the Northern districts of Kenya, featuring doum palms and over 450 species of birds, there are interesting experiences to keep you fascinated over the next day or two. Return to the lodge before dark, settle, and have your dinner in the tented lodge. Accommodation: Samburu Elephant Lodge.

Set out for an early morning game drive in the Samburu Reserve for a whole day. The morning is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards roam the vast grasslands in search of their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. The spectacle of nature unfolding is always amazing to watch over the top pop-up roof. Accommodation: Samburu Elephant Lodge.
