Today we head to Jinja. After breakfast in your hotel, you will depart Nakuru for Jinja, driving across the Malaba border. You will pass by the source of the Nile River, the world’s longest. It begins its journey here before crossing through ten African countries and plunging into the Mediterranean Sea. Jinja town is regarded as the adventure capital of East Africa. It is a place brimming with adventure sports and activities, including white water rafting, bungee jumping, and kayaking. We do encourage our client to have their boat ride for an extra. It is always a dream boat ride in the longest river across Africa. Overnight will be at Paradise Jinja Hotel.

We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s deepest crater lake (900m). Bunyonyi means “place of the little birds”, so you can expect to view interesting and unique birdlife while staying here. Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, which sits on the southwestern tip of Uganda. You will have a relaxing evening as we prepare for the trek ahead. This is an excellent place to rest before your gorilla trek. Accommodation: Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Trek through the early morning mist in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is home to roughly half of the world's 700 remaining mountain gorillas. The trekking can be demanding and take as long as a full day - a water bottle and good walking shoes or boots are highly recommended. Experienced local guides will lead you through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour (this time is strictly regulated by the Uganda Wildlife Authority). Photography is permitted, although not with the use of flash (there are also restrictions on the use of video cameras). With or without a camera, however, this is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences Africa can offer and is certainly one that will remain with you long after your journey. Overnight will be at the Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

In the morning leaving behind Mgahinga National Park behind, we descend to the open savannahs and head to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. We spend the next two nights of our safaris in the park. On the firsta day we will have a game drive. While here, we explore the Ishasha section of the national park, an area well-known for its tree-climbing lions, its massive hippo population, as well as an abundance of mammal, reptile and bird species. On our game drives in Queen Elizabeth Park, we scan the tall fig trees for lions and search the grasslands for other big five animals. Overnight will be at Queen Elisabeth Bush Lodge

Wake up, with the morning breakfast ready. Today you have optional boat a whole day a whole day in the park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed as the community animal's paradise. Observation during game drive with the trees around offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife and hundreds of bird species. Accommodation: Queen Elisabeth Bush Lodge

Transfer to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee’s trek. Chimpanzee tracking starts in the morning and is led by a guide and armed ranger. The rangers and Guides are familiar to the chimps because were involved in their habituation process. There is a morning and afternoon shift. The morning shift starts at 8:00am while the afternoon shift begins at 3:00pm. We encourage our client for the afternoon. As you hike to locate the chimps, you also encounter other forest creatures, birds and primates like baboons, blue monkeys, L’hoest monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. The head trackers communicate with the Guide by phone and lets him/her know about the chimp movements and their location. Chimps are very mobile and spend a lot of their time on top of trees. Spotting them and taking photos requires some skill and effort. Accommodation at Rweteera Safari Park

In the morning, wake up and have your morning breakfast. Get back to the lodge to pack for your transfer to Entebbe Airport. The transfer is around 5hrs, so make sure if booking a flight ticket, it be in the evening our last day. End your time in Uganda at which point the tour will come to its conclusion.
