14 Days of African Elegance: Safari, Culture & Zanzibar Shores

Today you will be picked up from the airport or from your hotel and you will be given a pre-departure meeting at your hotel or at the Airport in your van ready for safari. This always depends on your preferred choice of pickup. Then followed by a drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Narok county the land of Maa people. Maasai Mara national reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. The border intercounty borders are what has spilt the two great National Park. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. On the second day, you will wake up. Have your morning breakfast ready to be served. Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with your picnic lunch. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Mara Triangle borders the Mara River with lush grassland and acacia woodlands, this is always good for game drives. The Mara is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, which takes place every year from July to September. During these months the yellow savannah is dotted black by more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and antelopes that migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water. After a sound sleep. You will wake up for a morning breakfast and then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the best national parks in Kenya given that it has one of the Rift Valley soda Lakes. On arrival, you get a welcome and are shown to your room. After lunch take a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, which is well known as a bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make a home in this park. Lake Nakuru Kenya Park is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include but are not limited to African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed greenbul, Long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, Montane white-eye, Red-capped lark, Northern puff back, Rüppell’s robin-chat, Shining sunbird and many more. You will wake up for a morning breakfast and then depart to Lake Elementaita National Park. On arrival, you get a welcome drink and are shown to your room. After lunch take a late afternoon guided leisure walk along the bird-rich lake. Lake Elmenteita is a soda lake, in the Great Rift Valley, about 120 km northwest of Nairobi, Kenya. Salt Lake is known for its rich avifauna, among other huge concentrations of Greater and Lesser flamingos. End up at the hot spring for a relaxing dip. Return to the lodge for dinner and a campfire thereafter. Accommodation at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge.

We will depart to Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. Drive south through Maasai county to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en-route with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and various plains plateaus game can be seen. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Finally, you will return to your hotel. Accommodation: Sungura  Amboseli camp.

Early morning wakes up with your breakfast ready. Today you will have your packe lunch for redy full day game drive. Proceed with more game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest and Giraffe. Amboseli National Park is one of the best-known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: Sungura Amboseli lodge.

After breakfast you will drive out of the park with the view of Mt Kilimanjaro, then drive to the boarder of Tanzania and Kenya at Namanga boarder, After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. One of the lesser-known game reserves in Tanzania, Tarangire rivals the Serengeti in its great number and diversity of wildlife. It is a good choice for travellers who wish to encounter more animals and less tourists while on safari. The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees. Accommodation: Omega view hotel

After breakfast, we will be transferred to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. You will have game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is considered Tanzania's best park. Big herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and many antelope, such as eland, Topi, kongoni and impala are resident at any time of the year. All three big cats are easily seen. Lion are often found on a kill. Cheetah is very common on the southeastern plains, while leopard can typically be found lazing in one of the big trees along the Seronera River. More than 350 species of birds, including ostriches, vultures, and flamingos in a lesser number and not easy to spot, have also been recorded. Accommodation: Tukaone Serengeti Camps.

Today you will head back for full day game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. This Park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti NP is dominated by vast, open plains with an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti. We will transfer to the Ngorongoro crater, via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5-million-year-old fossil fragments of early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. In the morning depending on your departure time check out of the hotel for Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport. After having taken your breakfast. You will be transferred to the Airport. After boarding your flight, you will arrival in Zanzibar Airport. At the airport, you will be picked by our hotel driver to your hotel. Received by cold glass of juice. Will have a good time. Today after you enjoy your full buffet breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of uninterrupted relaxing time. After the long garden view with the sea breeze, you will be having free time in a cool and quite environment. It is good time to take a walk around the hotel compound and interact with local market. This day will be well spent in the beach. Activities an excursion to Old Stone at an extra fee. The Stone Town of Zanzibar is a fine example of the Swahili coastal trading towns of East Africa. It retains its urban fabric and townscape virtually intact and contains many fine buildings that reflect its particular culture, which has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a millennium. Today you go on an excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour at an extra fee. Pemba's terrain is hilly and lushly vegetated, while much of the coast is lined with mangroves and lagoons, interspersed with idyllic beaches and islets.
